At 10:44 PM, Springdale Fire Department Ladder 6 was dispatched to a smoke investigation on Hwy 412, West of I-49.
Upon arrival, they confirmed there was an active structure fire at the rear of the Great Dane truck repair shop. The call was upgraded to a Structure Fire, and a 2nd Alarm was requested shortly after Battalion 2 arrived.
Crews stretched multiple attack lines and controlled the fire, while other personnel conducted a search and opened all the bay doors to ventilate the structure. The cause of the fire is unknown, but appeared to only minimally damage the interior of the building.
