Springdale Crews Respond to 2nd Alarm Structure Fire
On March 2, 2024, the Springdale Fire Department responded to a Structure Fire on Mountain Road in Northeast Springdale. A 2nd Alarm was called shortly, due to there being two active fires in both a mobile home and a junk pile on the property.
"...crews responded to North Mountain Road for a report of a camper fire with other structures threatened. When units arrived on scene, they found the camper fully involved with fire extending to a vehicle. As they began extinguishment, firefighters noticed another residence nearby on fire. Additional crews were requested and extinguishments started on the second fire. The camper and residence sustained significant damage. There were no injuries reported. Both fires are under investigation," said the Springdale Fire Department via Facebook.
No injuries were reported and a resident feline was rescued and resuscitated after significant efforts. Springdale Police Department Detectives were requested to investigate, due to the unconfirmed primary cause of the incident being arson.
